Vaseline – Worst Face Scenario

Sun damage is no laughing matter, but humour can help bring light to serious health concerns. To demonstrate the irreparable effects the sun can have on a person’s skin, Vaseline teamed up with BBH Singapore and MediaMonks to create a shocking mirror installation that simulates the damage caused by long-term UV exposure.

The ‘mirror’ comprised an interactive screen and camera that captured and mapped sun-damaged skin onto the person’s face using facial recognition. The installation served to scare unsuspecting people into recognising the benefits of Vaseline skin protection products.

This experience was also available online. People could submit their picture via mobile or desktop and see how they would look like with damaged skin.
