Budweiser – EDM Selfie

Budweiser wanted to own China’s aspiring electronic dance music scene. We brought their vision to life by creating the Bud Selfie, a mobile experience that transforms selfies into vibrant music visualizations. The challenge was to give fans the most naturally engaging platform to express their love for electronic dance music.
Using a mix of creativity, design and tech, we created our own code-based system in WebGL to achieve the ambitious effects we envisioned. All the user needs to do is upload a selfie, match it to an ‘EDM skin’ and watch it come to life in a series of awesome animations that morph to the beat.
